Spilea Beach

SPILEA City of Himara is located in the center of the province and includes Spilea, and two neighborhoods, Castle (Himara village) and St. Michael. The nearest airports are one of Tirana (275km) in the north and of Janina(215 km) south. Ships can cover the distance of the city by sea from Vlora 3 hours, from Brindisi (Italy) 6 hours, 2 hours from Saranda and from Corfu 3 hours. Overland distance Vlora is located at 75 km and 55 km Saranda. The most ancient location(10000 years), Spile cave (cave), located near the sea, at the eastern edge of town. Today Spilea has received the largest tourism development, municipal, hospital, bank, school, police, tourist offices, hotels, rental rooms, restaurants and shops that serve any time, giving a great impetus to tourism development
